Dieting and losing weight can be very difficult, because we always seem to find ourselves more hungry than usual.

Sweet basil seeds have been used for manyyears to aid weight loss.

They do this by supressing the appetite.

Sweet basil seeds are also known as Sabja.

These come from the Ocimum Basilicum, A herbnative to Africa and other tropical countries.

They are loaded with many antioxidants, alongwith vitamin A and K.

The lutein contained within can also helpto improve your eyesight slightly.

In order to use these to lose weight, reduceyour regular calorie intake by 1000 calories a day for 2 weeks or more.

Each day, simply mix 2 teaspoons of basilseeds with 150ml of warm water.

Allow these to soak in the water for 5 minutes, and then drain the excess water out and eat the seeds.

You should do this three times day, beforeyou eat for meals.

This will help to curb your appetite and makeyou less likely to overeat.

You can also add these your morning cerealif you prefer.

This is a great way to start the day.
